These are all a lot older pieces of work I don't usually have displayed because the art is so outdated (done when I was still amateur.)
For our Fantastic Fridays Group I'm pulling a few old ones off the shelf.

African Pegasus.
I was sitting in church one day and started day dreaming.
This is what hearing the gospel inspired. LOL.

One of these days I'm going to have a pet cheetah.
(faux fur, by the way, no one needs to call PETA)

Water Lily Mermaid.
I saw this guy in a dream. Does that mean he's my dream man?

Those must be some gospels you're sitting through. Love the pics. You want a pet cheetah too?! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the African Pegasus :)

These are awesome, Deirdra. The zebra has been my favorite animal since forever, so naturally I love the African Pegasus!
ReplyDeleteHi Deirdra, thanks for commenting on my blog. I haven't posted anything for quite a while tho. I've been so busy with work and family things, plus I have a ton of books I've been trying to finish. I would really like to start blogging again tho. Thanks for your encouragement. It really means a lot. :) P.S. I enjoyed looking at your drawings.
ReplyDeleteGreat creatures. I'd like a pet cheetah, too. And one of those dragon flies.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very talented. I can't decide at all which is my favorite of the group. Some of my best creative idea come when I am sitting in church as well. The mind is enlarged and inspiration strikes.
ReplyDeleteI like the basilisk!
ReplyDeleteI'd also like to know what on earth your minister preached to inspire your critters...
You are so talented! I'm looking forward to exploring your blog and checking out your books! Thank you so much for the Inspirational blog award!
ReplyDeleteDeirdre, you should write about that dream guy of yours. Looks like a great story waiting to be born! ;)
